Matthew Bezzina

Matthew Bezzina

Chief Executive Officer

Matthew graduated in 2008 from the University of Malta, obtaining a Bachelor of Commerce in Management. He eventually went on to read an MBA from the same University. While researching for his dissertation, he concurrently wrote the eCABS business plan that eventually led him to set up the company in early 2010. Matthew’s main roles within the organisation are business and marketing strategy, business development and systems optimisation. He is also actively involved in the IT aspects of the operation, a crucial element that led eCabs to experience constant, solid and sustainable growth throughout the past years. Prior to setting up eCABS, Matthew worked in the EFL and transport industries, which led him to identify the opportunities present within Malta’s transport industry.

Andrew Bezzina

Chief Financial Officer

Prior to co-founding eCabs in 2010, Andrew practiced law with two major local law firms specialising in the field of Corporate Law. He graduated as Doctor of Laws from the University of Malta and went on to read for a Masters Degree in Corporate Law at the University College of London. In 2018, he was appointed Chief Financial Officer of eCabs Operators Limited. He is responsible for overseeing the finance and legal function of the organisation together with spearheading its property portfolio.

Greta Borg Bezzina

Director Of Operations

Greta joined eCabs in 2011 whilst still reading for her degree in Management & Banking. Upon graduating from the University of Malta, she gradually immersed herself in the operations of the company and assumed the role of Director of Operations. She spent the past years overseeing the design, sourcing, integration and implementation of ERP systems, which have been instrumental for eCabs’ unprecedented growth over the years.

Kevin Vassallo

Director Of Product Development

Kevin is one of the co-founders of the company. Following his graduation in Management, he gained invaluable experience in understanding customer needs, adapting to different markets and catering for high-end customer expectations, by working in the tourism and hospitality industries both locally and abroad. Kevin has played a major role in coordinating and organising major events, maintaining strong B2B relationships and developing new business products for eCabs.

Kerstin Rizzo

Kerstin Rizzo

Head Of Programmes

Kerstin’s role involves transmitting the business requirements to eCabs’ Software Engineering Department as well as managing the delivery of the various IT systems. Kerstin graduated from the University of Malta and has been working in the IT sector for more than 25 years. She started out as a systems analyst, spent some years programming, and eventually moved to Project Management. She has managed a number of high-profile Government projects as well as various projects in the private sector.

Marvin Cuschieri

Marvin Cuschieri

Chief Officer Human Capital and Corporate Services

For the last 12 years Marvin has been working in senior positions in the consultancy, operations and management field. His main focus has been on quality management, administration, human resources, operations and restructuring. He has been involved in a number of employee engagement and talent management strategies in various companies based in Malta. Marvin has an MBA from the University of Leicester, a Masters in European Studies from the University of Bonn, and an Honours Bachelor degree in International Relations from the University of Malta. Apart from the UK and Germany, Marvin has spent also time studying in the USA and Denmark. He is a Prince2 Accredited Practitioner.

Robert Gauci Maistre

Company Secretary

Robert, an advocate by profession, was appointed Company Secretary in 2019. He graduated as Doctor of Laws in 2009 following which he successfully completed a Master’s Degree in Financial Services at the University of Malta. As Company Secretary other than serving as secretary to the board, he is entrusted with ensuring that the eCabs’ corporate governance structure and rules are implemented and adhered to. He is a partner at FSGM.Partners.
